Lead Engineer LIMS - LabVantage (Life Sciences)

Location: Remote role associated with Cincinnati, United States

Salary: $73,150–$174,000 per year

What you will do

• Serve as the primary technical lead and subject matter expert for LabVantage LIMS across the enterprise.
• Define LIMS architecture, solution standards, development practices, governance, and platform modernization initiatives.
• Lead LabVantage implementations, enhancements, upgrades, migrations, customizations, workflows, business rules, and data models.
• Design and support API, web service, middleware, messaging, and file-based integrations, including laboratory instrument connectivity and data acquisition.
• Ensure solutions follow SDLC, CSV, change management, validation, GxP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and ALCOA+ requirements.
• Lead global L3 support, critical incident management, root cause analysis, technical reviews, workshops, and cross-functional delivery teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience implementing, configuring, and supporting LIMS platforms, including significant hands-on LabVantage experience.
• Deep knowledge of LabVantage architecture, configurations, workflows, forms, business rules, and platform administration.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale LabVantage implementations and upgrade programs across R&D, Quality Control, Stability, Manufacturing, and Regulatory functions.
• Experience designing enterprise integrations with APIs, web services, middleware, messaging platforms, and modern integration frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of Oracle and SQL Server databases, optimization, and troubleshooting, plus Java, JavaScript, SQL, XML, REST, and SOAP.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
