PL/SQL Developer (Oracle)

What you will do

• Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and support.
• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database applications using PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, and Oracle Reports.
• Create, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, packages, triggers, and functions.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and application designs while collaborating with business users, developers, and project teams.
• Troubleshoot application defects and performance issues, support deployments, and assist with database performance tuning.
• Maintain technical documentation, participate in code reviews, and support improvements to existing Oracle applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 2 years of experience developing applications with Oracle technologies.
• Strong PL/SQL development skills and hands-on experience with Oracle Forms and Oracle Reports.
• Experience writing and optimizing complex SQL queries and database objects, and supporting the full SDLC.
• Active CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Strong communication, organization, time management, client collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Oracle APEX and modernizing legacy Oracle Forms and Reports applications.
• Database performance tuning, Agile development, external system and API integration, and secure coding experience.
• Experience with enterprise, government, regulated, or security-conscious systems.
• Experience supporting production environments, version control, and automated deployment processes.
• Relevant Oracle certifications and experience with state or local government agencies.
