Location: Full-time onsite in Houston, Texas, United States.

Salary: $38.71–$46.72 per hour target range; full range of $34.71–$54.29 per hour.

What you will do

• Procure, install, configure, and maintain user hardware, peripherals, operating systems, networking components, and office applications.
• Provide telephone, in-person, and online support to end users and serve as an escalation point for complex requests.
• Administer and support Windows environments, Active Directory, Exchange, VPN, user access controls, and IP telephony systems.
• Coordinate server, networking, security, and service desk activities across the Information Technology group.
• Communicate request status and completion updates to users, supervisors, and managers.
• Lead assigned IT projects and coordinate with stakeholders to drive completion.

Requirements

• A four-year degree in an IT-related field and at least six years of highly applicable full-time experience, or equivalent experience in lieu of the degree.
• Required knowledge of at least one Windows client operating system, 802.3 wireless networks, Layer 2 switching, two-factor VPN, Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange, User Access Control, IP telephony, and basic security principles.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, planning, organization, adaptability, dependability, and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Ability to work onsite in Houston and perform the physical duties of the role, including sitting, standing, walking, bending, and lifting 10–15 pounds.
• Must be eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.
• Ability to follow applicable quality assurance requirements, including 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting iPhone, Android, UEM, Apple DEP, KNOX, iMac, MacBook, iPad, Unix, or Linux environments.
• Experience with disk imaging and endpoint backup products.
