What you will do
- Lead financial management for the RAI programme, providing strategic insights and scenario modelling to inform programme decisions.
- Develop and manage multi-year budget frameworks and funding strategies to ensure portfolio sustainability and growth.
- Prepare and monitor project budgets, monthly management accounts, and Budget vs Actual reports for grants and contracts.
- Oversee the full grant cycle, from reviewing funding opportunities and pricing to closure and audit readiness.
- Line manage and develop the Programme Finance Officer, overseeing workload distribution and professional growth.
- Maintain internal financial controls and manage the programme-level financial risk register in collaboration with senior management.
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant (CCAB or equivalent).
- Strong experience in charity finance, specifically in budgeting and donor financial reporting.
- Advanced Excel skills for financial modelling and complex data analysis.
- Proven experience in grants and contract management for donor-funded projects.
- Experience in line managing or supervising staff.
- Right to work in the UK is required.
