Lead Software Engineer (.NET)

Location: Miami, FL, United States; primarily an office position

What you will do

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications and reusable software components.
• Collaborate with product owners, UX researchers, data, QA, project management, design, and engineering stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Architect, plan, and implement integrations, including automated and monitored file-transfer processes triggered through APIs.
• Write technical documentation, participate in code reviews, and implement unit, integration, functional, and performance tests.
• Diagnose and resolve critical performance and production issues while establishing development and CI/CD practices.
• Manage and mentor software engineers.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in computer science with 5+ years of professional experience, or a bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, or an equivalent field with 7+ years of experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with .NET, .NET 8, ASP.NET MVC, and C#; 7+ years of C# experience is required.
• Proficiency with SQL Server, including stored procedures, triggers, views, and functions.
• Experience with JavaScript, component UI libraries, RESTful APIs, integration patterns, and Git-based version control.
• Experience configuring and securing file-transfer protocols and automating file movements through APIs.
• Proven leadership in Agile environments, complex solution architecture, team management, problem-solving, communication, and mentoring.

Nice to have

• Frontend development and third-party frontend integrations.
• GoAnywhere MFT, TypeScript, React, or Next.js.
• Python for scripting and data processing.
• Experience in treasury, corporate finance, or banking.
• Exposure to AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
