Salary: $80,000–$133,000 national target base pay. California and New York metropolitan candidates may have a target base pay range of $88,000–$146,000.

What you will do

• Reconcile inventory transactions and prepare monthly journal entries.
• Prepare and analyze monthly material and manufacturing variances, inventory reserves, inventory movements, cost of sales, and system cost flows.
• Design and prepare monthly Operations Financial Performance Packages.
• Investigate operational cost data and collaborate with manufacturing and operations teams to explain variances.
• Support quarterly forecasting and annual budget preparation.
• Identify opportunities to improve the month-end close process.

Requirements

• Four-year degree or equivalent in Accounting, Business, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of cost accounting, financial modeling, and financial analysis experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of cost accounting, inventory control, and general accounting principles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Access.
• Experience with JDEdwards, Oracle, or a related ERP system.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to work independently.
