What you will do

• Build, optimize, and maintain scalable Java microservices for hirify.global’s marketing platforms.
• Design event-driven systems that process high volumes of real-time data for personalized customer experiences.
• Define future architecture while improving the operational reliability and simplicity of existing systems.
• Lead projects, contribute to design and prioritization, and deliver secure, testable, maintainable code.
• Own parts of the product and technology, troubleshoot complex issues, and participate in on-call support.
• Coach and mentor engineers while improving code review, documentation, and engineering practices.

Requirements

• Strong backend software engineering experience with Java.
• Experience with AWS, cloud infrastructure, DevOps concepts, and infrastructure as code using Terraform.
• Experience with event streaming or messaging technologies such as SNS, SQS, or Kafka.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, data storage optimization, messaging queues, and concurrency.
• Understanding of containers, Docker, Kubernetes, modern architecture patterns, and high-volume systems.
• Expertise in software testing, test tooling, Agile development, and integrating quality practices into the SDLC.
