What you will do

• Produce TV bulletins and programmes, progressing from lunchtime broadcasts toward the flagship 18:30 news programme.
• Commission and select relevant content while maintaining audience standards and hirify.global editorial guidelines.
• Plan and undertake reporting assignments, including filming and editing material for broadcast.
• Originate and produce stories through scripting, editing, filming, presenting, and publishing across multimedia platforms.
• Present live or recorded content for radio, television, and online channels when required.

Requirements

• Substantial broadcast journalism experience with strong editorial judgment and production skills.
• Understanding of production techniques and newsgathering technology.
• Strong knowledge of digital platforms and their role in news operations and audience growth.
• Ability to manage resources and staff while producing engaging content cost-effectively.
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet deadlines and changing priorities under pressure.
• Eligibility to work in the United Kingdom and successful completion of hirify.global employment screening checks are required.

• Experience using existing and emerging technologies to improve content production.
• Cross-platform and multimedia knowledge and experience.
• Creative writing, adaptation, production, and accurate translation for different audiences and media formats.
