Infrastructure Engineer (Linux) with French

Location: Must be located in Poland and willing to commute to the office in Katowice.

What you will do

• Provide second-level support for customer infrastructure and resolve incidents, requests, and technical issues.
• Administer HP-UX and Linux SLES operating systems, including configuration changes, service maintenance, and regular system and firmware updates.
• Administer VMware ESX/ESXi and vSphere environments and deploy new virtual servers.
• Coordinate with on-site and third-party support teams during hardware incidents.
• Participate in customer calls, propose infrastructure improvements, and maintain technical documentation.
• Train other team members on infrastructure operations and support procedures.

Requirements

• Proven experience in L2 infrastructure support in enterprise environments.
• Strong administration skills in HP-UX, Linux SLES, and HPE Ignite.
• Hands-on experience with VMware ESX/ESXi, VMware vSphere, and virtual server deployments.
• Knowledge of NetBackup and Rubrik backup solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, problem-solving, incident-management, and request-management skills.
• French at B2 level or higher is required for customer calls and technical meetings.
