Senior AI Consultant

Location: Must work from the European Union region and hold a valid work permit.

What you will do

• Lead AI adoption and enablement programs for client engineering teams.
• Run workshops, demos, training sessions, and pair-programming activities focused on practical AI use in engineering workflows.
• Design and implement AI-enabled workflows and automations across the software development lifecycle.
• Evaluate and benchmark AI tools, agents, and coding assistants, translating findings into recommendations.
• Develop standards, playbooks, cookbooks, and best practices through the Center of Excellence for Engineering Productivity.
• Advise engineering leaders on AI adoption strategies while combining consulting with hands-on technical delivery.

Requirements

• Several years of experience in software engineering, engineering productivity, DevOps, developer experience, or a related technical field.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools, LLMs, coding assistants, and AI agents for improving engineering workflows.
• Practical understanding of applying AI across the software development lifecycle.
• Experience designing AI-enabled workflows, automations, or developer productivity solutions.
• Experience working with engineering teams or clients in consulting, enablement, or advisory roles.
• Fluent professional English at C1 level and the ability to work from the EU with a valid work permit.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted testing, code review, documentation, debugging, requirements analysis, or software design.
• Familiarity with LLMOps, AI gateways, observability, cost management, and model routing.
• Experience creating technical guides, playbooks, cookbooks, blog posts, or knowledge-base materials.
• Knowledge of AI adoption maturity models, engineering productivity metrics, DORA metrics, or structured assessment methods.
• Awareness of or hands-on experience with Model Context Protocol, MCP servers, and tool integrations.
