Product Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid work is available from offices in Almaty or Limassol, or fully remote outside office locations. Relocation support to Cyprus is available.

Salary: €65,000–€75,000 per year

What you will do

• Analyse fraud, AML, sanctions, and user behaviour data to identify detection gaps and optimise rules.
• Design, implement, and refine detection logic across Fraud, AML, and Sanctions domains.
• Investigate emerging typologies and unknown attacks, proposing mitigation strategies.
• Improve detection and disturbance rates while balancing accuracy with customer friction.
• Perform alert QA and analyse false positives and false negatives to increase precision.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data Science on risk models, alerting logic, automation, and AI-powered investigation workflows.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in a Product Analyst role.
• Expert-level SQL, including writing and optimising complex queries.
• Advanced knowledge of data visualisation tools.
• Practical experience using AI tools in analysis, investigation, and delivery workflows.
• Ability to interpret business meaning from complex data and communicate findings clearly.
• Upper-intermediate English required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of probability theory and mathematical statistics, including A/B testing and causal inference.
• Python for data analytics, including NumPy and Pandas.
• Experience in risk, compliance, or anti-fraud.
