Business Systems Analyst (Fintech)

Location: Georgia, Armenia, European Union, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan

What you will do

• Own the operations platform backlog and roadmap end-to-end, translating operational needs into a prioritized development plan
• Lead large cross-functional platform initiatives from discovery through delivery and post-launch iteration
• Conduct in-depth business and systems analysis with emphasis on IT integration in banking sector
• Make architecture-level trade-offs balancing cost, technical debt, and business impact
• Produce detailed documentation including BRDs, FSDs, specs, user stories, and test cases
• Define platform metrics, analyze data, and drive platform improvements
• Manage testing strategy, UAT, and collaborate with development teams
• Investigate platform incidents and implement lasting fixes
• Align priorities across operations, product, and engineering; mentor junior analysts

Requirements

• 5+ years experience as business/systems analyst in fintech, banking, or digital company
• Proven ownership of large cross-functional initiatives end-to-end
• Experience modeling and re-engineering complex business processes
• Strong understanding of systems integration including CRM, ticketing, workflow, and back-office tools
• Solid data skills including SQL and BI dashboards
• English level: B2+

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated environments (banking, microfinance)
• Understanding of credit lifecycle
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence
• Exposure to workflow/automation or low-code platforms
• Mentoring junior analysts
