Solutions Architect (CIAM)

Location: NSW, Australia. Hybrid working with three days in the office and two days remote or from home.

What you will do

• Lead solution architecture and transition delivery for the next-generation CIAM platform.
• Design end-to-end registration, authentication, consent management, and identity lifecycle architecture across customer channels.
• Set authentication standards covering biometrics, passkeys, WebAuthn, FIDO2, MFA, and social login.
• Architect protections against SIM swap fraud, account takeover, credential stuffing, and bots.
• Design privacy-by-design frameworks aligned with the Privacy Act and Consumer Data Right obligations.
• Collaborate with Digital, Marketing, Fraud, and IT to integrate CIAM with the broader customer platform.

Requirements

• Significant information security experience focused on customer identity, CIAM, or consumer authentication platforms at enterprise scale.
• Experience designing and architecting CIAM or consumer authentication systems in complex, high-scale environments.
• Hands-on experience with Ping Identity, Auth0, ForgeRock, Okta CIAM, or Azure AD B2C.
• Strong knowledge of OAuth 2.0, OIDC, API security, and mobile application authentication.
• Experience with telecommunications fraud prevention architecture, platform transitions, and delivery programs.
• A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
