Logistics Specialist

Location: Elsbethen, Austria; travel expected at 0–10%.

Salary: €2,392 gross per month minimum; market-oriented compensation may be significantly higher.

What you will do

• Define, implement, validate, and monitor KPIs for third-party logistics partners.
• Develop sustainable transport initiatives and identify environmentally friendly routes with Logistics Technology and 3PL partners.
• Analyze and improve logistics cost structures, including maintaining rate tables in the Transport Management system.
• Manage CHEP and IPP pallet operations, including monitoring, cost booking, stock reconciliation, and partner onboarding.
• Provide quantitative and qualitative logistics input for network simulations, scenario planning, regionalization, and expansion decisions.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience or a specialized qualification in logistics or supply chain management, ideally in FMCG.
• Experience managing end-to-end logistics processes, preferably in FMCG operations.
• Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills with the ability to work with large datasets and recommend improvements.
• Ability to present logistics performance results to management and maintain a proactive, results-oriented approach.
• Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel with complex formulas, pivot tables, and dashboards, plus PowerPoint.
• Experience with SAP is preferred; travel requirement is 0–10%.

• Previous experience in FMCG logistics operations.
• Experience with SAP and third-party logistics partner management.
