Maintenance Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite at Arco Felice, Pozzuoli, Italy

Salary: Gross annual salary of at least €30,000, plus an individual or collective variable incentive based on performance objectives.

What you will do

• Analyze equipment failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to improve asset reliability.
• Develop and optimize preventive maintenance plans, introduce predictive maintenance and condition-monitoring techniques, and track MTBF, MTTR, and availability.
• Provide technical troubleshooting support and prepare specifications for equipment modifications and engineering solutions.
• Lead maintenance reliability initiatives, standardize practices across the plant, and promote continuous improvement.
• Support CAPEX projects through design reviews, FAT, SAT, commissioning, technical acceptance, and operational handover.
• Monitor asset health, maintenance effectiveness, costs, spare parts, technical documentation, and engineering standards.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Industrial, Automation, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Preferably 1–3 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Experience with preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office, 2D/3D CAD, and Minitab or a similar tool.
• Strong problem-solving, engineering, continuous improvement, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Good written and spoken English required; onsite work in Pozzuoli, Italy.

Nice to have

• Experience with reliability improvement initiatives and equipment criticality assessment.
• Experience supporting CAPEX projects, commissioning, and technical equipment handover.
