Senior Product Manager (IoT)

Location: Remote in the US; strong candidates in Europe may also be considered. Candidates should be based in a North American time zone.

Salary: $130,602–$219,500 USD annual base salary, plus potential bonus and equity.

What you will do

• Define the three-year vision for device installation and provisioning across products, device types, and geographies.
• Own install correctness as the primary product metric, instrumenting the funnel and improving performance quarter over quarter.
• Lead guided installation and verification flows in the hirify.global Fleet mobile app for professional installers and customer-operated deployments.
• Build intelligence that verifies camera alignment, wiring, signal quality, and overall device health during installation.
• Provide operations leaders with live visibility into fleet readiness, installation status, verification, and data production.
• Conduct field research and customer-yard sessions to inform hardware, firmware, and software roadmap decisions.

Requirements

• 7+ years of product management experience shipping products used by external customers.
• Demonstrated ownership of a business or product metric, including measurable improvement from a baseline.
• Experience building products from zero to one without an established specification, customer definition, or playbook.
• Technical depth in system architecture trade-offs, supported by a computer science or engineering degree, engineering experience, or equivalent fluency.
• Ability to set multi-year strategy while working through detailed product and screen-flow decisions.
• Must be based in the US or considered from Europe, with availability aligned to a North American time zone.

Nice to have

• Experience building mobile products for field workers operating in loud, time-pressured, or offline conditions.
• Strong primary-research practice and experience translating field observations into product decisions.
• Experience with products where software and hardware are interdependent.
• Experience instrumenting funnels and running experiments.
