TL;DR
Civil Engineer (Transmission Lines) (Construction): Supporting construction projects through project controls, field operations, safety compliance, inspections, and startup activities with an accent on cost tracking, scheduling, construction estimates, and site coordination. Focus on auditing field activities, evaluating project progress, managing turnover and punch lists, and solving operational challenges across construction sites.
Location: Onsite in Metro Manila, Philippines, with travel to construction sites. Relocation is not available. Visa sponsorship is not available.

What you will do
- Support project controls by tracking costs, developing schedules, building spreadsheets, and analyzing trends.
- Assist field staff across project controls, inspections, safety, logistics, materials management, and general construction operations.
- Prepare construction estimates and support proposal preparation, commodity evaluations, and startup activities.
- Audit construction activities for compliance with project safety and health requirements and assist with safety program execution.
- Perform shop inspections, review codes and requirements, and support material applications.
- Track field progress, evaluate costs, develop turnover packages, conduct system walkdowns, and maintain punch lists.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Basic understanding of construction principles, with analytical, mathematical, communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in construction-site and office environments, including confined or uneven areas and varying weather conditions.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, climb structures and scaffolds, and perform physical work for shifts of up to 12 hours.
- OSHA 10-hour certification.
- Successful completion of applicable background, drug-screening, and motor-vehicle-record checks is required.

- Experience with overhead transmission line projects.
- Field construction experience.
- Knowledge of transmission line design, construction, or project execution.
