What you will do

• Write functional, design, and test specifications for EOS networking features.
• Implement software solutions in C and C++ for traffic forwarding and routing functionality.
• Develop and monitor automated tests, debug failures, and resolve defects.
• Collaborate with engineers, customer support, and system test teams to diagnose network issues and deliver patches or releases.
• Own projects from definition through deployment, including scheduling, reporting, code reviews, and mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s, master’s, or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering.
• 5+ years of related post-graduate work experience.
• Knowledge of C and/or C++.
• Knowledge of UNIX or Linux.
• Understanding of networking fundamentals, including Layer 2, Layer 3, and commercial switching hardware.
