Senior Manufacturing Project Engineer (Welding)

Location: Onsite in Santa Catarina or Nuevo Leon, Mexico; six days per week in-office. Visa sponsorship and relocation assistance are not available.

What you will do

• Lead welding operations and ensure safe, efficient, high-quality production against schedule, cost, and inventory targets.
• Optimize the use of materials, machinery, and personnel across the assigned manufacturing area.
• Manage quality, delivery, cost-reduction, lead-time, and continuous-improvement initiatives.
• Coordinate factory, logistics, maintenance, and quality functions to meet value-stream goals.
• Manage capital projects and implement 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and internal certification initiatives.
• Supervise and develop Manufacturing Engineers and Technicians, including training supervisors and supporting performance management.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Advanced English proficiency required.
• Experience leading manufacturing operations, welding processes, process improvement, and quality performance.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, planning, communication, influencing, and performance-management skills.
• Must work onsite in Santa Catarina or Nuevo Leon, Mexico; foreign-candidate sponsorship is unavailable.
• Relocation assistance is unavailable, and an English resume is required in the Workday profile.

Nice to have

• Lean Six Sigma certification.
• Master’s degree related to Manufacturing or Administration.
