What you will do

• Lead design and development engineering projects from concept through to full production.
• Perform failure analysis and problem solving using engineering analysis tools.
• Develop cost-effective manufacturing and assembly processes to ensure robust product designs.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, Quality Assurance, and external suppliers to meet customer specifications.
• Conduct Design Reviews, DFM, and DFA for new product development.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers and interns in engineering principles and problem solving.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in manufacturing and product development.
• Fully bilingual proficiency (English and Spanish).
• Valid Visa and ability to travel up to 15% domestically and internationally.
• Proficiency in FEA, FMEA, DOE, QFD, and DFMA.
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and tolerance stack-up analysis.

Nice to have

• Experience with 3-D Parametric Solid Modeling (SolidWorks).
• Experience working with international suppliers.
