Team Supervisor – R &D Samples Department

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop coordinators and technicians while establishing clear roles, priorities, and accountable ways of working.
• Oversee the full sample flow, including request analysis, preparation, repacking, stock management, shipment coordination, and stakeholder follow-up.
• Act as the escalation point for complex sample requests and service issues, ensuring timely decisions and transparent communication.
• Collaborate with R&D, business units, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Customer Care, Marketing, Quality, IT, Warehousing, and affiliates.
• Review and improve processes, service standards, KPIs, and service levels to increase quality, efficiency, and continuity.
• Drive simplification, digitalization, and automation using SAP S/4, Power BI, webshop solutions, OutSystems, and other platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of experience as a team lead or supervisor, preferably in supply chain, warehousing, logistics, customer service, or operations.
• Strong people management, decision-making, prioritization, and stakeholder management skills.
• Process-oriented mindset with experience identifying inefficiencies and implementing practical improvements.
• Customer-focused approach and ability to translate business needs into service improvements.
• Affinity with digital tools and systems; SAP knowledge is important.
• Fluent English and French required; Dutch is an advantage.
