Team Supervisor – R&D Samples Department

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop coordinators and technicians, establishing clear roles, priorities, and accountable ways of working.
• Manage the end-to-end sample flow, including request analysis, sample preparation, repacking, stock management, shipment coordination, and stakeholder follow-up.
• Act as the escalation point for complex sample requests and service issues, ensuring clear communication and timely decisions.
• Collaborate with R&D, business units, Purchasing, Supply Chain, Customer Care, Marketing, Quality, IT, Warehousing, and affiliates to improve service levels.
• Review and improve processes, service standards, communication, and operational continuity.
• Drive simplification, digitalization, and automation using SAP S/4, Power BI, webshop solutions, OutSystems, and other digital platforms; define and monitor KPIs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of experience as a team lead or supervisor.
• Experience in supply chain, warehousing, logistics, customer service, operations, or a related field.
• Strong people management, decision-making, prioritization, process improvement, and stakeholder management skills.
• Affinity with digital tools and systems; SAP knowledge is important.
• Fluent English and French are required.

Nice to have

• Dutch language skills.
• Experience with Power BI, webshop solutions, or similar digital platforms.
