What you will do

• Review revenue contracts and determine appropriate revenue recognition under ASC 606.
• Collaborate with sales, legal, and operations teams on revenue recognition policies.
• Process revenue allocation and recognition in dedicated revenue software.
• Manage billing, collections, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Lead revenue-related data analysis and present findings and recommendations to management.
• Identify and implement improvements to revenue accounting processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
• 3+ years of progressive revenue accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS or technology company.
• In-depth knowledge of ASC 606 and experience with ERP and revenue recognition software such as RevPro, NetSuite, or RecVue.
• Experience with billing, collections, and accounts receivable processes.
• Strong analytical, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work on-site in Sunnyvale four days per week.

Nice to have

• CPA certification.
• Big Four accounting experience.
