Enterprise Service Configuration Manager (Jira Service Management)

Salary: $156,500–$219,000 total cash annually; potential pay up to $250,500 based on sustained performance. The stated range is for Seattle.

What you will do

• Define the target AMDB/xMDB architecture and own the long-term CMDB, service modeling, data quality, integration, adoption, and migration roadmap.
• Build CI and service models, relationship structures, onboarding patterns, governance processes, and data quality measures in Jira Service Management Assets.
• Lead the transition from fragmented configuration sources to a coherent, trusted platform supporting incident, change, problem, request, resilience, and impact-analysis workflows.
• Drive dependency visibility, change impact analysis, and operational resilience for Tier 0 and Tier 1 services.
• Coordinate migration delivery, data remediation, platform maintenance, and operations across multiple services and stakeholders.
• Influence senior technical and business leaders and collaborate with management and product without direct authority.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Senior individual contributor experience with demonstrated technical leadership and at least one year leading or managing engineering teams.
• At least three years leading engineering or IT service management teams in ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, or related domains.
• Proven ownership of an enterprise CMDB/AMDB/xMDB platform and deep hands-on experience with Jira Service Management, Assets, service modeling, and ITSM integrations.
• Strong expertise in CMDB data modeling, CI class design, relationship mapping, API-based integrations, governance frameworks, ownership models, and data quality KPIs.
• Experience supporting complex enterprise environments, mission-critical services, distributed stakeholders, and operational resilience initiatives.

Nice to have

• Experience operating enterprise-scale xMDB/AMDB platforms across cloud and hybrid environments.
• Experience with discovery toolchains, reconciliation strategies, data pipelines, service topology, and service mapping.
• Advanced use of AI/ML or AI-assisted tools for CI classification, configuration drift detection, service impact prediction, and operational improvements.
• Background as an ITSM or ITOM Architect, ServiceNow Platform Owner, SRE, or Resilience Engineering leader.
• Experience in travel, e-commerce, marketplaces, SaaS, cloud service providers, or other high-transaction customer-facing platforms.
