Enterprise Service Configuration Manager (Jira Service Management)

Location: United States — Washington — Seattle

Salary: $156,500–$219,000 annual total cash; potential pay up to $250,500 based on sustained performance.

What you will do

• Define the target AMDB/xMDB architecture and own the long-term CMDB, AMDB, and xMDB roadmap.
• Build CI and service models, relationship structures, migration patterns, onboarding processes, and configuration governance.
• Lead data remediation, integrations, adoption, and the transition from fragmented configuration sources to a trusted enterprise platform.
• Enable configuration data for incident, change, problem, request, resilience, and impact-analysis workflows.
• Improve dependency visibility, change impact analysis, service health, and operational resilience for Tier 0 and Tier 1 services.
• Collaborate with management, product, service owners, and operational teams while providing technical leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Senior individual contributor experience with demonstrated technical leadership and at least one year leading or managing engineers.
• At least three years leading engineering or IT service management teams in ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, or related domains.
• Enterprise ownership of a CMDB, AMDB, or xMDB platform serving as a source of truth for services, infrastructure, and dependencies.
• Deep hands-on Jira Service Management experience, including JSM Assets, CSDM-aligned service modeling, ITSM integrations, ITOM, ITAM, observability, cloud platforms, APIs, CI design, and relationship mapping.
• Experience defining configuration standards, data models, governance, ownership models, data-quality KPIs, roadmaps, and cross-team operational improvements.

Nice to have

• Enterprise-scale xMDB/AMDB experience across distributed cloud and hybrid environments.
• Experience with discovery toolchains, reconciliation strategies, data pipelines, analytics, and AI/ML-enabled operational insights.
• Experience making low-level design decisions for APIs, data models, integrations, and workflows across multiple domains.
• Background as an ITSM or ITOM Architect, ServiceNow Platform Owner, SRE, or resilience engineering leader.
• Experience in travel, large-scale e-commerce, marketplaces, SaaS, cloud services, or other high-availability environments.
