Salary: $127,300–$216,100 USD per year. Colorado range: $127,300–$165,800 USD per year. Bonus and equity may also be available.

What you will do

• Serve as a technical consultant and subject matter expert for client implementations and strategic initiatives across the payment ecosystem.
• Design, deliver, and optimize payment solutions in collaboration with Product, Engineering, Client Services, Operations, partners, and clients.
• Lead technical discovery sessions, solution design workshops, implementation planning, and post-launch optimization.
• Support integrations involving APIs, digital payments, tokenization, authentication, transaction processing, and related platforms.
• Diagnose production issues and drive improvements in scalability, reliability, performance, monitoring, and operational readiness.
• Translate business and technical requirements into recommendations and influence outcomes across matrixed teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor's degree, or 5+ years with an advanced degree, or 2+ years with a PhD.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience in technical consulting, systems integration, solution engineering, implementation, or enterprise technology initiatives.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, communication, and client engagement skills.
• Experience working with clients, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
• Ability to work in the Atlanta hybrid office at least 3 days per week and provide occasional weekend or holiday incident support.

Nice to have

• Experience in payments, fintech, financial services, digital commerce, wallets, tokenization, authentication, or transaction processing.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, Java-based applications, SQL, cloud technologies, and modern software development practices.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SDLC, DevOps, and CI/CD practices.
• Familiarity with GitHub, Docker, Jenkins, Splunk, Grafana, New Relic, ServiceNow, or equivalent tools.
• Experience using AI-enabled productivity and workflow tools.
