Salary: $112,000–$157,000 annually, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Implement and maintain network delivery solutions for data science SDKs, including deployment, security, authentication, observability, and operational processes.
• Build and operate internal APIs and support integrations across a distributed technology ecosystem.
• Define integration contracts, implement solutions to specification, and identify blockers early through close collaboration.
• Create durable documentation and runbooks for owned systems.
• Participate in on-call rotation, respond to incidents, lead post-incident reviews, and drive reliability improvements.
• Provide expert code reviews and technical mentorship while designing solutions across cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and LLM-enabled systems.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience, including substantial backend service or service integration work.
• Deep experience with backend languages such as Python and Golang.
• Practical experience with distributed systems, asynchronous patterns, idempotency, and failure handling.
• Ability to design maintainable solutions and collaborate through paired programming.
• Strong written communication and the ability to maintain long-term technical documentation.
• Availability to work remotely or in a hybrid arrangement within the United States and travel occasionally for company events.

Nice to have

• Expert-level understanding of cloud solutions, Kubernetes, LLMs, and infrastructure operations.
• Experience using AI-assisted development tools with sound engineering judgment.
