AI Tutor (Serbian)

Location: Remote worldwide, subject to legal eligibility, time-zone compatibility, and role-specific needs. US-based candidates cannot be hired in Wyoming or Illinois. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: US-based candidates earn $35–$45 per hour; international compensation is provided during recruitment.

What you will do

• Label, annotate, record, and evaluate multilingual audio clips, voice recordings, speech samples, and other auditory data.
• Translate and localize UI copy, prompts, responses, and related content from English into Serbian.
• Curate audio data that preserves natural pronunciation, intonation, rhythm, accent, and cultural expression.
• Evaluate speech accuracy across accents, dialects, noisy recordings, and varying audio quality.
• Collaborate with technical staff to improve speech-processing tasks and audio annotation tools.

Requirements

• Native Serbian proficiency, including familiarity with diverse accents, dialects, or regional variations.
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher, with clear pronunciation suitable for audio recording.
• Strong auditory perception and accurate transcription skills across accents and varying audio quality.
• Ability to translate and localize content between English and Serbian while preserving meaning, tone, and cultural nuance.
• Ability to make consistent, independent judgments on ambiguous speech and communicate detailed audio feedback.
• Suitable personal device: Chromebook, macOS 11.0 or later, or Windows 10 or later.

Nice to have

• Background in linguistics, phonetics, phonology, sociolinguistics, speech sciences, or cognitive science.
• Experience with speech or audio datasets, annotation workflows, AI training data, or voice models.
• Professional voice experience, such as voice acting, voice recording, or podcasting.
• Portfolio of voice samples, annotated transcripts, or other audio-related work.
