Salary: $139,500–$224,700 per year, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own thermal CFD analyses evaluating the design and performance of Kaleidos reactor systems.
• Develop models for turbulent flow, heat transfer, and multiphysics interactions.
• Define and implement CFD simulation best practices.
• Build automated workflows that improve simulation capability, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on reduced-order analysis methods and reactor system design decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, physics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• 5+ years of experience with STAR-CCM+, Ansys Fluent, or another commercial CFD code.
• Proficiency with CAD software, particularly Siemens NX.
• Mastery of finite element and computational fluid dynamics modeling principles and methods.
• Experience communicating technical information and distilling analysis for cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with radiation heat transport modeling.
• Knowledge of nuclear reactor design.
• Strong ownership and ability to drive work from start to finish.
