TL;DR

Senior Cybersecurity Analyst (DoD A&A/eMASS): Supporting information system assessment and authorization, connection approval packages, and cybersecurity compliance analysis with an accent on DoD policies, vulnerability assessment, and continuous monitoring. Location: United States; U.S. Citizenship and the ability to obtain, maintain, and access Top Secret/SCI classified information are required.

Salary: $105,000–$115,000 per year, depending on location, skills, and experience.

What you will do

  • Support and perform DoD information assurance assessment and authorization activities for systems undergoing certification and authorization.
  • Process, review, and provide quality assurance for connection approval packages, workflows, and cybersecurity analyses.
  • Assess vulnerability severity and potential impacts on current or future system accreditation.
  • Brief senior management on assessment and authorization progress and outcomes.
  • Support mission partners with connection approval submissions and resolve process-related issues.
  • Maintain cybersecurity data quality, organizational mailboxes, connection correspondence, and mission partner metrics across government systems.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship and eligibility to obtain, maintain, and access Top Secret/SCI classified information.
  • DoD 8570 IAM/IA Technical (IAT) Level II certification.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least five years of relevant experience, including five years of experience with eMASS.
  • Advanced knowledge of security incident management, threat intelligence, continuous monitoring, and federal risk and compliance practices.
  • Advanced proficiency in Windows and Linux environments, with strong technical writing, communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
