Salary: $99,000–$206,000

What you will do

• Perform forensic triage to determine the scope, urgency, and impact of cyber incidents.
• Correlate forensic findings with network events to develop comprehensive intrusion narratives.
• Analyze network traffic to identify anomalous activity and potential threats.
• Document and escalate incidents while providing daily summary reports of network and host activity.
• Coordinate with government staff to validate alerts and preliminary findings.
• Assist in the construction of signatures for cyber defense tools to mitigate observed threats.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizenship required
• Active TS/SCI clearance required
• Ability to obtain DHS Entry on Duty (EOD) Suitability
• 5+ years of direct experience in cyber defense analysis using industry-standard tools.
• Proficiency in digital forensics, incident handling methodologies, and characterization of cyber attacks.
• Experience with common operating systems including Linux/Unix and Windows.

Nice to have

• Experience with cloud environments (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS).
• Proficiency with EDR tools such as CrowdStrike, SentinelOne, or Cortex.
• Experience with forensic software like EnCase, FTK, KAPE, or Volatility.
• Relevant certifications such as GCFE, GCFA, GCIH, or Security+.
