What you will do

• Support civil and structural engineering activities for utility-scale solar projects during estimating and project engineering phases.
• Review engineering drawings and assist with civil and structural designs, quantity takeoffs, and constructability reviews.
• Coordinate design information, quantities, and specifications with construction teams through project completion.
• Collaborate with Engineers of Record, vendors, suppliers, technical firms, and internal Engineering, Estimating, Supply Chain, Construction, and Project Management teams.
• Develop economical designs that meet power plant design-life requirements, applicable building codes, company practices, and safety standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil, structural, mechanical engineering, or a related field from an ABET-accredited college.
• Support compliance with local, state, federal, and international building and safety codes, including NESC, NEC, NFPA, and OSHA requirements.
• Engineering, construction, or field experience in heavy civil, industrial, utilities, or a related industry is beneficial.
• Surveying or renewable energy experience is beneficial.

Nice to have

• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) certificate.
• Experience focused on surveying or renewable energy projects.
