Information System Security Officer (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Support the Risk Management Framework lifecycle, including security control implementation, validation, assessment preparation, and continuous monitoring.
• Maintain cybersecurity authorization documentation, including SSPs, RARs, and POA&Ms, in eMASS and ITIPS.
• Track vulnerability findings, coordinate remediation, and validate corrective actions with system owners and engineering teams.
• Prepare authorization decision support materials and contribute to mission impact assessments for the Authorizing Official.
• Review patching, configuration changes, and security settings for compliance with Air Force cybersecurity directives.
• Coordinate daily with the ISSM, system engineers, cybersecurity analysts, developers, administrators, DBAs, and program personnel.

Requirements

• Ability to obtain, maintain, and access classified information at the Top Secret level.
• DoD 8410 WRC 722 Intermediate-level certification required, including GMON, SecurityX/CASP+, CCISO, CCSP, CGRC/CAP, CISSO, Cloud+, GSEC, Security+, or SSCP.
• Knowledge of IAVA, TCNO, and NOTAM implementation, tracking, and validation requirements.
• Bachelor of Science degree or higher, or an equivalent combination of technical education and 10 years of relevant IT experience.
• Ability to work primarily in an office or warehouse environment and meet the physical demands of the position.
