Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) II

Location: Fort Walton Beach, Florida; onsite workplace

Salary: $124,950–$169,050 annually, depending on experience, geographic location, and contractual requirements.

What you will do

• Serve as the principal security advisor for information systems supporting DoD agencies and Special Access Programs.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate information system security policies, procedures, and formal security programs.
• Lead Risk Management Framework, JSIG, assessment, authorization, and security documentation activities.
• Conduct risk assessments, evaluate threats and vulnerabilities, and recommend safeguards and corrective actions.
• Manage configuration control, security testing, incident response, system recovery, and authorization-boundary protection.
• Coordinate with government program managers, Authorizing Officials, security officials, IAOs, ISSOs, and network administrators.

Requirements

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Top Secret/SCI clearance is required, with the ability to obtain TS/SCI with polygraph and eligibility for Special Access Program access.
• Willingness to submit to a counterintelligence polygraph is required.
• At least 7 years of related experience, including prior ISSO or ISSM experience; SAP experience is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, an associate degree plus 2 years of experience, or equivalent experience.
• IAT Level II or IAM Level II certification, working knowledge of DoD and applicable security policies, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.

Nice to have

• Security+, CCNA Security, GIAC Security Leadership, GSEC, or other listed security certifications.
