Focus on designing scalable services, integrating POS and voice transcription systems, and improving performance and observability as customer volume grows.

What you will do
- Design, build, and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs.
- Integrate POS, reservation, payment, and voice transcription providers.
- Own features end-to-end and bring them into production.
- Improve system reliability, performance, monitoring, and scalability.
- Collaborate closely with founders and engineering on product delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 4+ years of professional software development experience.
- Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
- Experience working with SQL databases.
- Proficiency in systems design principles.
Nice to have
- Experience building applications with LLMs or generative AI models.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or similar cloud services.
- Experience integrating restaurant POS systems such as Toast, Square, or Clover.
- Experience with voice transcription APIs and LLM agent frameworks such as LangChain or LangGraph.
- Background in human-AI interaction or conversational UX.
