What you will do
- Develop and maintain Python backend services and APIs for core products.
- Design event-driven workflows with AWS Step Functions and integrate core AWS services.
- Build AI-powered features using LLMs, AWS Bedrock, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation frameworks.
- Design large-scale, highly available systems with a focus on performance, reliability, and security.
- Develop microservices in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and data scientists on end-to-end solutions.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of backend software engineering experience, including at least 2 years working with AWS services.
- Strong Python backend development skills and hands-on experience with AWS Step Functions and event-driven architecture.
- Knowledge of Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Aurora/Postgres, S3, CloudWatch, and X-Ray.
- Experience designing high-availability systems, microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes/EKS.
- Experience integrating LLMs with AWS Bedrock, using RAG frameworks, and working with Kafka or other event-streaming systems.
- Experience building complex AI-driven workflows and production-grade systems for financial, enterprise, or regulated industries.
