What you will do

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable data pipelines supporting both operational and analytical AI/ML needs.
• Ensure data processing is optimized for speed, efficiency, and fault tolerance within the product ecosystem.
• Monitor and improve the uptime, reliability, and observability of the data infrastructure.
• Build systems to ensure data quality, consistency, and usability across the organization.
• Participate in on-call rotations with a service-oriented mindset.
• Drive innovation in metric definitions and AI/data integration strategies.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience with Python in backend or data engineering roles.
• Strong background in designing and operating large-scale production data pipelines and infrastructure.
• Hands-on experience with ML/AI-powered products in a production environment.
• Familiarity with modern LLM and RAG technologies.
• Proven ability to optimize system performance for high availability and scalability.
• Capacity to collaborate effectively across engineering, data science, and product teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Apache Spark, DBT, Airflow, or Kafka.
• Proficiency with API development using FastAPI and micro-services.
• Expertise in cloud infrastructure, specifically the AWS stack and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of vector databases and data lakehouse architectures.
