What you will do
- Lead a small backend team, owning decomposition, estimation, prioritization, and delivery.
- Develop and scale the internal LLM agent framework, including throughput and parallel processing.
- Build and maintain integrations with third-party services.
- Extend platform architecture to support evolving product requirements.
- Coordinate backend and platform ownership with adjacent teams and align architectural decisions.
- Improve system observability and reliability through metrics, tracing, and monitoring.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience building and shipping production software.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with asynchronous Python in production.
- 2+ years of technical engineering leadership experience.
- Strong background in complex distributed systems, platform infrastructure, or high-scale backend architecture.
- Practical experience with LLMs and agentic AI frameworks such as LangGraph.
- Ability to define technical direction, manage ambiguity, and own delivery end to end.
