Senior Finance Leader (AI/SaaS)

Location: Austin, TX

Salary: $180,000–$240,000 base per year, plus 15% target bonus and 0.25%–0.60% equity.

hirify.global builds an AI-powered voice platform for restaurants that answers calls, takes orders, books reservations, handles menu questions, and integrates with restaurant POS and reservation systems.

What you will do

• Own financial modeling, annual planning, rolling forecasts, long-range planning, cash management, burn, runway, hiring capacity, and scenario analysis.
• Create trusted reporting for ARR, MRR, retention, expansion, churn, CAC, payback, gross margin, burn efficiency, and unit economics by customer segment, restaurant type, channel, product, and location count.
• Oversee the monthly close, accounting, payables, receivables, payroll, tax, insurance, revenue recognition, commissions, deferred revenue, customer contracts, and outside finance partners.
• Build scalable controls, approval and purchasing processes, expense management systems, finance dashboards, and automated workflows across finance, CRM, billing, payroll, banking, and operating systems.
• Lead fundraising preparation, financial diligence, data-room management, investor requests, board reporting, cap-table management, option planning, 409A, and equity administration.
• Partner directly with the CEO and functional leaders on pricing, compensation, enterprise deals, vendor negotiations, hiring, margins, capital allocation, risks, and the future finance team structure.

Requirements

• 8+ years of progressive experience across strategic finance, FP&A, accounting, investment banking, private equity, or related roles.
• Meaningful experience inside a venture-backed B2B SaaS or technology company and experience building or significantly upgrading a finance function at a Seed through Series B company.
• Direct experience supporting at least one institutional fundraising or major financing process.
• Advanced financial modeling skills and deep fluency in SaaS metrics.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting operations, controls, and cash management.
• Experience preparing board materials and communicating with investors.
• Ability to turn messy operational data into clear financial insight.
• High ownership, strong judgment, extreme attention to detail, direct communication, and willingness to challenge assumptions.
• Comfort moving between strategic work and hands-on execution without waiting for a larger team.

Nice to have

• Experience as the first senior finance hire.
• Experience with vertical SaaS, restaurant technology, payments, marketplaces, telecommunications, usage-based software, multi-location or franchise business models, restaurant POS and payment ecosystems, AI or infrastructure-intensive software, acquisitions, international expansion, or multi-entity operations.
• CPA, CFA, or MBA.
• Interest in building toward a CFO role as the company scales and working directly with founders in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.
