Salary: $37.21β$41.35 per hour, plus a 25% annual bonus target paid quarterly.

What you will do
- Review and underwrite loan applications according to company policies, investor guidelines, and applicable regulations.
- Evaluate complex financial documentation, including tax returns, income statements, business records, credit, collateral, and income verification.
- Apply underwriting guidelines for self-employed borrowers, trusts, LLCs, powers of attorney, and DSCR loans.
- Collaborate with operations, product, legal, credit, and underwriting teams to resolve issues and improve loan processing.
- Monitor underwriting accuracy, efficiency, and compliance metrics while refining procedures for new loan products.
- Support training materials, compliance documentation, loan repurchase responses, and resolution of underwriting deficiencies.
Requirements
- 3+ years of underwriting experience with conventional, portfolio, and special program loans.
- Expertise in underwriting self-employed borrowers, trusts, LLCs, powers of attorney, and DSCR scenarios.
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations, including CFPB, FHA, and VA requirements.
- Experience with underwriting systems such as DU and LP, plus Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office.
- Ability to analyze financial data, make independent underwriting decisions, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate across teams.
- Bachelorβs degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred; security policies and mandatory security training must be followed.
