What you will do

• Conduct deep-dive credit analysis and track issuer performance, capital structure developments, and court milestones.
• Build and maintain three-statement and forward financial models, including recovery and waterfall analysis.
• Review credit agreements and indentures to determine borrower flexibility and implications for creditor groups.
• Analyze new issues, amendments, exchanges, and emergence capital structures post-restructuring.
• Write and publish research notes and thematic reports on sector stress and broader capital market trends.
• Collaborate with legal analysts and engage directly with subscribers via client calls and webinars.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant credit experience in investment banking, restructuring advisories, direct lending, or rating agencies.
• Ability to build three-statement and forward models from scratch (modeling case study required).
• Strong writing skills and a deep understanding of accounting.
• Client-facing communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Must be located in or able to work from New York, NY.

Nice to have

• Direct exposure to liability management exercises, restructurings, or chapter 11 cases.
• Familiarity with the end-to-end chapter 11 process, including DIP structures and valuation disputes.
