Associate Systems Engineer

TL;DR

Associate Systems Engineer (Windows Server/Active Directory): Maintaining and supporting enterprise infrastructure with an accent on server availability, security, virtualization, and Microsoft solutions. What you will do

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot Windows Server environments, storage systems, and foundational virtualization infrastructure.
• Manage Active Directory and deploy, update, and administer Microsoft solutions remotely.
• Support server builds, replacements, upgrades, and infrastructure performance initiatives.
• Triage and resolve Tier 1–3 escalations within defined customer SLAs using remote support tools.
• Identify solutions for hardware, software, and network issues while communicating with clients, project leads, and the Project Management Office.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience managing multiple systems and resolving technical escalations in a fast-paced environment.
• Required experience managing and maintaining Microsoft Windows Server 2022/2025 and Windows 11.
• High school diploma or GED required; a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, customer relationship, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively, handle unexpected problems professionally, and interact with employees and management at all levels.
• Ability to work after standard business hours and travel.

Nice to have

• Experience with HP ProLiant servers, HP Blade chassis, and Cisco UCS servers.
• Microsoft MCSA or MCSE certification.
• Microsoft Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) or Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) certification.
• Knowledge of VMware ESX v8 or Red Hat Linux v8 and newer.
