What you will do

• Work as part of a two-person installation team to deploy, configure, and test Dell and VMware solutions.
• Troubleshoot storage, networking, and virtual environments during implementation and operations.
• Create implementation documentation, technical drawings, reports, and customer-facing materials using Microsoft Office and Visio.
• Support teleconferences, readiness reviews, site assessments, site surveys, customer training, and customer-needs management.
• Coordinate effectively with colleagues across different time zones and work independently in a military-structured environment.
• Help lead infrastructure projects through successful completion.

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance and a valid US passport are required.
• At least five years of operational experience supporting Dell, VMware, or similar solutions.
• At least two years of experience with VMware vSphere 7 or 8.
• Dell OEM certification or two years of experience deploying comparable systems.
• Security+ certification is required, or must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• High school diploma or equivalent, strong troubleshooting and communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice to have

• Degree in computer science or a related field.
• VMware VCP certification.
• DoD or USAF experience and knowledge of USAF IT standards and processes.
