What you will do

• Create and maintain engineering drawings, site layouts, equipment arrangements, and construction documents for renewable energy projects.
• Support estimating and engineering with drafting, modeling, data analysis, quantity takeoffs, and bid quantity generation.
• Review plans and specifications, identify discrepancies, and communicate findings to estimators and engineers.
• Organize and convert CAD and GIS bid data for use in Autodesk Civil 3D, Map 3D, ESRI ArcGIS, or similar programs.
• Track design changes, additions, and upgrades and communicate their scope to project teams.
• Develop knowledge of renewable energy industry standards and project requirements.

Requirements

• Two-year technical degree in drafting and design, civil, electrical, or mechanical disciplines, or a related field such as computer science or engineering technology.
• Relevant experience in utility-scale renewable energy may substitute for the degree requirement.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word.
• Proficiency with Revu Bluebeam.
• Previous CAD design or related experience is preferred.
