Landscape Architect

Location: Boise, Idaho, USA; based in the Garden City office

Salary: $30–$40 per hour, full-time exempt role with overtime paid at the base hourly rate for hours worked over 40 per week.

A multidisciplinary practice providing architecture, engineering, surveying, planning, landscape architecture, and construction management services for communities across Idaho.

What you will do

• Lead landscape architecture projects from concept through construction.
• Design parks, recreation facilities, streetscapes, subdivisions, commercial developments, public spaces, and infrastructure.
• Prepare site plans, grading concepts, planting plans, construction documents, renderings, and presentation materials.
• Analyze topography, drainage, utilities, environmental constraints, and zoning requirements.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, planners, surveyors, project managers, and clients.
• Support permitting, bidding, construction administration, schedules, budgets, and quality control across multiple projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Four or more years of progressive landscape architecture or land development experience.
• Strong understanding of site design, grading, construction documentation, and development regulations.
• Experience with multidisciplinary projects.
• Strong communication, project management, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Professional license preferred but not required.

Nice to have

• Experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, SketchUp, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
