Associate Director, Advancement Services

Location: Fully remote within the Continental United States; requires several overnight trips per year for staff offsites, planning retreats, and organization-wide events. Limited additional overnight travel may be required, along with occasional nights, weekends, and holidays.

Salary: $79,000–$109,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the advancement services function, overseeing fundraising data management, reporting, analysis, and prospect research.
• Serve as the Development team’s Salesforce expert, managing accounts, fields, reports, dashboards, training, and data workflows.
• Partner with the Tech Team to troubleshoot CRM issues, refine standard operating procedures, and support Salesforce Agentforce integrations.
• Lead prospect research using iWave and produce detailed donor profiles and screening reports.
• Design data hygiene protocols and audit opportunities, pledges, transactions, and other revenue data.
• Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to frontline fundraisers and executive stakeholders.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of related fundraising experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, social work, English, communications, management, public relations, or a comparable discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Google Suite, Canva, Salesforce, and Hive, or the ability to learn these tools quickly.
• Strong fundraising, business, or related research skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong attention to detail, administrative skills, adaptability, and ability to collaborate with people from varied backgrounds.
• Must be based in the Continental United States and able to travel overnight several times per year. Ability to lift and carry supplies or equipment up to 30 lbs.
