What you will do

• Define and execute the engineering strategy for cloud-based tax product portfolios in partnership with tax and product leadership.
• Lead architecture, product engineering, design, development, governance, security, and platform delivery.
• Build and manage cross-disciplinary agile technology teams, including staffing, mentoring, and career development.
• Serve as technical architect for scalable, maintainable, and secure enterprise products and platform solutions.
• Oversee delivery of product portfolios on schedule, within budget, and in line with quality and business requirements.
• Evaluate emerging AI, cloud, and data technologies and apply them to firm and client needs.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent with 12 years of technology experience, or a bachelor's degree with 10 years of technology experience.
• Five or more years of leadership experience managing development teams.
• Strong knowledge of software architecture, engineering principles, security, performance optimization, and development methodologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP; DevOps, CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL, and NoSQL.
• Knowledge of programming languages and frameworks including C#, .NET, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Python.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, ServiceNow, AI platforms, enterprise product development, and global technology delivery is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience with tax or accounting products, Microsoft Dynamics, and professional services firms.
• Experience managing product engineering teams of 20 or more people in a global multisite environment.
• Cloud-related technical certifications such as AZ-900.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and multinational remote teams.
