Maintenance Technician - 1st Shift (Aerospace Manufacturing)

Location: Onsite in Niagara Falls, New York, United States

Salary: $37.00–$42.00 per hour

What you will do

• Test, maintain, and operate steam boilers.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, heating, HVAC, electrical, and facility systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and modifications for power distribution and process water systems.
• Inspect facilities and equipment, including fire and life safety systems, for issues and compliance with building codes.
• Maintain exterior areas through landscaping, snow removal, and parking lot upkeep.
• Support Hot Fire testing operations and participate in the Safety Committee.

Requirements

• At least five years of relevant maintenance, manufacturing, mechanical, electrical, or technical experience preferred.
• Proficiency with basic hand and power tools.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems.
• Ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform strenuous manual work in varied weather conditions.
• High school diploma or GED preferred; technical associate degree or additional technical training is beneficial.
• Ability to understand and apply work instructions and training in English.

Nice to have

• Steam boiler certification, or willingness to attend school one day per week to obtain it.
