What you will do

• Set up, operate, and maintain process equipment, including vacuum coating systems.
• Diagnose and resolve system performance issues using electrical, mechanical, and optical diagnostic tools.
• Support assembly, testing, and qualification of electromechanical and vacuum systems.
• Provide technical support for research and product improvement activities.
• Document maintenance, test results, and troubleshooting efforts.
• Execute equipment installations and preventive maintenance.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience testing and maintaining complex electrical and mechanical systems.
• High school diploma or GED (Associate degree in Engineering Technology or related field preferred).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Must be based in or able to work onsite in Plainview, NY.

Nice to have

• Experience in high-technology manufacturing or R&D environments.
• Familiarity with vacuum systems or semiconductor wafer processing equipment.
