Sales Trainee

Location: Ottawa, Canada; travel 30–40% and flexible shifts required.

Salary: CAD 50,825–56,175 per year, plus potential discretionary bonus or incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Manage hirify.global products and determine ongoing product needs in assigned distribution accounts.
• Build professional customer relationships and increase sales and selling space.
• Maintain product rotation, brand flow, equipment condition, and executional standards.
• Train with senior Account Sales Managers and cover their routes during absences or special projects.
• Monitor competitor launches and price reductions and communicate findings to the District Sales Manager.
• Meet monthly KPIs covering sales, distribution, pricing, displays, new accounts, and merchandising.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; college or university experience is an asset.
• Preferred prior sales experience; consumer packaged goods, retail, and beverage market knowledge are assets.
• Fluent English required.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, mathematical, and organizational skills.
• Current driver's license with a clean driving record required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and operate forklifts and commercial vehicles required.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in consumer packaged goods or retail.
