What you will do

• Independently determine project scope and develop plans of investigation for product evaluations.
• Conduct on-site inspections and electrical tests to verify compliance with NEC and other safety standards.
• Communicate technical requirements and resolve complex issues with clients and regulatory authorities.
• Develop special test methods and equipment for unique or non-standard product features.
• Represent the company at industry meetings and provide technical presentations on code-related topics.
• Serve as the project handler and reviewer of record for major regulatory projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Physics from an ABET-accredited program.
• Eight years of directly related experience in field evaluations or conformity standards.
• Expert knowledge of Building Codes, NEC, and NSF Food Safety Standards.
• Demonstrated experience with electrical test equipment and conducting electrical tests.
• Ability to travel frequently, including international travel.
• Must be located in the Dallas/Fort Worth area or be able to relocate.
